Mobile Messaging Services
Blackberry Enterprise
From the experts at Research In Motion, we are proud to offer the original mobile messenging service, the Blackberry Enterprise Service. With Blackberry Enterprise, all aspects of your organization's hosted Exchange can be received on a hand-held Blackberry device. This enables users to get their mail, contacts, notes and schedules while they are out. No need to call the office to find a name or confirm an apppointment as they are seemlessly synchronized to your Blackberry device.
Good Mobile Messaging
GMM is the newest innovation from Motorola. It provides mobile messaging to users from their GMM enabled devices and Smart Phones. GMM provides you with synchronized Calendar, Notes, Contacts and Messaging. GMM allows you to view your e-mail in true form, such as HTML and Rich-Text.
ActiveSync and ActivePush
Microsoft mobile ActiveSync and ActivePush are technologies that provide Smart-capable devices with the ability to synchronize with Microsoft Exchange.
ActiveSync is available for all Microsoft-enabled mobile devices using Microsoft Mobile 2002 and above. ActiveSync allows the mobile device to connect to Microsoft Exchange either on-demand or on-schedule to synchronize Contacts, Calendar, Messages and Notes.
ActivePush is available for all Microsoft-enabled mobile devices using Microsoft Mobile version 5 and above. ActivePush is very much like ActiveSync, however whenever you receive a new message, Microsoft Exchange "pushes" the message to your mobile device, removing the need to manually synchronize or even on a schedule. The New Apple iPhone devices also support Microsoft ActivePush technology.
