Virtual Co-Location
Virtualization has become the new way to host servers. Unlike physically located servers, Virtual servers are multiple operating systems installed in a virtual layer of a physical server. Virtualization requires specialized software to allow the server to become a host machine, thus becoming a host-server.

The host server can manage multiple "guest" operating systems, that is, each customer-based operating system installation is a guest on the host. Each guest may be secured so that no one guest can see another. Guest operating systems may be given a specific amount of processing power, memory and disk space. The advantages of Virtual Co-Locationed servers are certainly vast and expand with how we utilize it and the technology itself evolving.

Virtual Co-Location supports many Operating Systems:
  • Microsoft Windows XP and Vista (All)
  • Microsoft Windows 2003 and 2008 Server
  • Linux Centos, Redhat, Debian , Ubuntu, and more
  • BSD, Free BSD, Unix
  • Advantages of Virtualized Co-Location :
  • No equipment to purchase
  • No equipment maintenance
  • Zero-U data center foot-print
  • Less power consumption
